Hermana Wagstaff!

My sweetest little sister Natalie got called to serve in the Houston, Texas South mission- right where we had just moved from. I screamed when she read where she was going and was so excited for her. She will be the most incredible missionary!

She has a lot of fans that will be praying for her and will miss her!

Hooray for Halloween

The annual Wagstaff Halloween party is such a fun tradition. Rhett was flipping out not wanting to get in his costume before, but after seeing everyone dressed up, he finally agreed to get in his and loved it!

Rhett wasn't too scared of Bony Legs. He even gave her a hug!

Rhett's cute friend Charlie had us over for a neighborhood Halloween party. Pumpkin bowling, cookie decorating, and mummy wrapping.

Trick or treating and Happy Halloweeners at Nana's with the cousins. Rhett was the Cowardly Lion, Ruby was Dorothy, and I was the witch. Mitch got off this year with no costume.

Life with Ruby

Life with two kids is definitely a juggling act. It fees like you are always putting one of their needs before the others. Ruby needs a nap so we can't go to the park or playgroup. Rhett has to get out of the house so Ruby has to skip her nap. Luckily, they are both flexible and put up with it! And Rhett is thrilled to have a baby sister. He tries to get her to hold one of his cars or anything to interact. He was surprised by how much she sleeps!

And Ruby is a much better on the go sleeper than Rhett was. Rhett hated his car seat. Ruby is definitely a cat napper though and loves to stay up for a late night party. There was a night that I was trying to put her down from 10-2. She finally figured out her nights and days which was awesome for us!

Having a back yard has been a life saver with two. I can put Ruby down (for a quick 15 min cat nap) and run outside and play with Rhett. Or just carry her around while Rhett tries to get me to play with one arm.

We got to have the Smith Pumpkin Patch party over in the orchard and the kids had a blast! Ruby was ten days old and slept in the wrap on me the whole party.

Life with two is pretty great. Even though I'm exhausted and overwhelmed at times, it's so fun to have a little girl in our home and watch Rhett and Ruby together.

Miss Ruby Jane

Our little miss is here! There is nothing sweeter than a newborn. Ok, maybe watching your first baby- now a HUGE toddler- snuggle his new baby sister, that might be sweeter.

We are all in love with Ruby Jane and Rhett might just be the cutest big brother ever. He can't go 15 minutes without holding her, kissing her, or smothering her with hugs.

My pregnancy was great and my delivery was even better! I was induced a week late and we all thought she would come in the morning, but she was ready! 4 hours after I got to the hospital, I was holding my baby girl! I loved my doctor, nurses, and everything about the University Hospital.

Ruby was born at 10:27 pm and weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz- a big healthy girl!

Not a fan of her first bath

Rhett couldn't come into the hospital, so we had to introduce Ruby to him in the lobby. The first thing he said was, "That's Ruby. She's gonna cry." We hadn't told him who she was or anything. The whole time I was telling him about Ruby while I was pregnant, I didn't think he was getting it, but he really understood what was going on! He hasn't stopped loving on her since.

William and Ruby, cousins born only 3 weeks apart.

Her first sponge bath at home- not fun!

Life with two is crazy and fun! And so very tiring....

1 week old

She could lounge anywhere! She hates to be swaddled and loves stretching out.

The rare moments where both kids are sleeping. Heaven right here.

This pretty lady has our hearts! She is such a sweetheart and we cant imagine our lives without her.
